Terms of Service

By using CVora ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

CVora is an AI-powered CV builder and job matching tool. We provide tools to help you create, format, and match your CV against live job listings. We do not guarantee employment outcomes or the accuracy of third-party job listings.

2. Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use CVora. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Provide accurate information when registering.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

• CVora offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier billed monthly or annually.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
• You may cancel at any time from your Profile screen. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to local taxes where applicable.
• Payments are processed securely by Paddle. We do not store your payment card details.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes:

• Uploading content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes third-party rights
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Using the Service to generate CVs on behalf of others at scale
• Sharing account credentials with others

5. AI Processing

CVora uses OpenAI's API to process CV content for enhancement and job matching. By using the Service, you consent to relevant portions of your CV being sent to OpenAI under terms that prohibit them from using your data for model training.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you upload or create using CVora. We do not claim rights to your CV content. CVora's software, design, and branding are owned by us and may not be copied or reused without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

CVora is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost job opportunities or inaccuracies in AI-generated content. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
