CVora ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

• Account information: your email address and a hashed password
• CV content: name, contact details, work history, education, skills, and any other information you enter
• Job preferences: location, work type, and relocation settings
• Payment information: billing is handled entirely by Paddle — we never see or store your card details

We do not collect browsing data, tracking cookies, or advertising identifiers.

How We Use Your Data

• To generate and store your CV
• To match your profile with relevant live job listings
• To send transactional emails (email verification, password reset)
• To manage your subscription via Paddle

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for advertising or commercial purposes. The only external services that handle your data are:

• OpenAI — processes CV content to power AI features, under terms that prohibit using your data for model training
• Paddle — processes payments and manages subscriptions on our behalf
• Cloudflare R2 — stores uploaded CV files and generated PDFs

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen inside the app. This permanently removes your personal data and CV files from our systems. You may also contact us to request deletion of specific data.

Cookies

CVora does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We store a session token in your browser's local storage solely to keep you logged in.
